This field-based workshop is aimed at beginners and those with a general interest in spiders. It will include a brief introduction to spiders and their basic structure, life cycles and behaviours. We will collect a few live specimens in the field and look at the key features that enable you to identify spiders to family level. It is not a detailed technical workshop but will also make a very basic introduction on using a microscope for identification purposes.
Led by: Bill Blumsom, Wiltshire County Recorder for Spiders and Regional Organiser,
