Distribution
Tegenaria hasperi was first found in Britain in 2014 (Harvey 2015). In Europe, it is known from countries mostly bordering the Mediterranean Sea, from France to Turkey (https://araneae.nmbe.ch/data/2305).Habitat and ecology
The initial three specimens were taken from a green roof at the Olympic Park, London. The second location was a garden centre in North Somerset (Bennett-West, 2023). In Europe it occurs under stones in open terrain (Deltshev 1993).Status
