Managing AGM content

AGM documents are available from this page which is visible only to members (from the members area page which is available from the support us menu). Technically, the page is a Drupal 'view' which collates separate items of the agm content type - in this case as a table. There is a separate agm item for each year.

Adding or editing an AGM item (i.e. a row in the table) is easy. There are nine fields which are pretty self explanatory. The first five are madatory, i.e. you can't create an new AGM item without specifying values for all these fields.

  1. Title - keep this the same as the year.
  2. Year - for technical reasons we need a separate fields for year and title, so this should be the same as the title.
  3. AGM No. - each AGM is assigned a serial number. This is not an automatic field, so technically you can set it to any numeric number, but it should correspond to the year in question. 2020 has the AGM number 51, so 2021 with be 52 and so on.
  4. Date - indicate the date on which the AGM was held.
  5. Location - indicate the location of the meeting. If it was held remotely, as in 2020, just indicate this.

The remaining four fields all enable you to upload a single PDF for each. They are agenda, minutes, report and attendees. Since all of these files are not necessarily available at the time the new AGM item is created, these are all non-madatory fields.

To select a PDF to associate with any of these four fields, just click the browse button under the field name and locate the PDF file from your own computer. This will upload the file to our website and associate it with the AGM item. To remove a file, simply click the remove button under the name of the PDF.
